We're on the move once again. We're headed over to the secondary feature table here in the Amazon Room. Pascal LaFrancois' railbirds were fairly rowdy over here in the orange section, we can't imagine what they'll be like once their seated by the table.
As the hand was described to us by Pascal LaFrancois, from early position, Matthew Ezrol open shoved and got a call from LaFrancois.
Ezrol:
LaFrancois:
The flop came leaving LaFrancois in the lead. The turn didn't do much for Ezrol, and the river bricked, putting LaFrancois at 3.06 million in chips.
From late position, Pascal LaFrancois made it 56,000. From the button, Darin Utley three bet and LaFrancois moved all in and Utley made the call.
LaFrancois:
Utley:
It looked as though Utley was set for a double up before the flop, but when it rolled out things wouldn't be as bright as he had hoped.
The turn brought the and the river the and LaFrancois sent Utley to the rail.
After the hand, Joshua Bikris laughingly said, "You don't like folding do you."
From under the gun, Daniel Wjuniski raised to 60,000. David Aue made the call from middle position, as did James Andersen and Kevin Howe.
Flop:
Howe and Wjuniski checked before Aue fired out a bet of 100,000. Andersen and Howe folded and Wjuniski made the call.
Turn:
Wjuniski checked and Aue bet 250,000. Wjuniski went into the tank for four minutes and finally mucked his cards.
Aue is sitting behind a 1.6 million chip stack and Wjuniski sits with 620,000.
Matthew Ezrol raised to 62,000 on the button and received a call from Saar Wilf in the small blind.
The flop came down and Wilf checked. Ezrol continuation bet 97,000 and Silf made the call. Both players checked the on the turn and on the river.
Silf showed which was good enough to get Ezrol, who claimed to have had , to muck.
Wilf is up to 1.43 million while Ezrol is down to around 450,000.
Scott Vener moved all in under the gun for about 400,000. Action folded to Daniel Wjuniski on the button who made the call. Vener's tournament life was at risk but he was ahead when the cards were turned over:
Wjuniski:
Vener:
Vener was in trouble after the flop came . Wjuniski, who is from Brazil, had his friends and they immediately erupted in cheers. Players around the rail eagerly leaned in as the was turned.
Vener needed to cacth a queen on the river, but instead it was the that appeared. Wjuniski increased his stack to over a million while Vener was eliminated in 13th place, taking home $25,472.
