Claire Renaut is up to 46,000 after winning a "crazy pot" against Tommy Vedes. She had opened to 1,700 from UTG and he made the call in the big blind.
The flop came 
and Renaut ended up bet/3bet shoving over Vedes check-raise and Vedes made the call with 
against Renaut's 
. The former WPT winner somehow contrived to miss all his outs and was crippled down to 4,000 as a result.
Soon after though, he managed to eliminate the only stack shorter than him at the table Michael Conway, when the latter decided to gamble with 
against Vedes' 
. The board came 
though and Vedes now has an 8,000 stack and at least a little fold equity.
