Stroke Tries to Mount a Comeback

Level 3
: Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Shawn Stroke had just lost a massive pot to Maduka Meragal in which he rivered a set of queens, but the same card gave Meragal the nut straight.
"I rivered a set. You river the nuts. How does that happen," Stroke lamented as he was knocked down to around 60,000.
Stroke soon after got involved in another pot, three-betting to 4,200 on the button after Motokatsu Uhara had raised to 1,300 in the hijack.
Uhara called and both players checked to the river on a board of J?10?3?8?4?. Uhara then led out for 7,000 and Stroke raised to 15,000.
Uhara came back with a reraise to 30,000 and Stroke sighed and mucked his hand.
