Less Than One Hour To Go Before The Main Event Restarts!
Day 4 of the Main Event of the World Series of Poker Europe will start at noon local time here at the Kings Casino in Rozvadov. There are 46 players in the running for that coveted gold bracelet and the 1,115,207 for first place. Robert Bickley (1,431,000) took the chip lead last night when he eliminated Philipp Gruissem in the last hand of the day.
Next in the top of the chip counts is fellow Brit Jack Salter with 1,396,000. Salter arrived late in the series playing only a few events here. He finished in 19th place in the High Roller for ONE DROP and will be looking for another deep run in the Main Event. Third in the chip counts is Rainer Kempe with 1,254,000 chips. Kempe also made a deep run earlier this month when he finished in 12th place in the 25,000 High Roller and will be gunning for an even better result over the coming days.
But the other 43 players wont sit still either. Defending champion, Kevin MacPhee (653,200) is still in it too and wont let go easily. Two-time bracelet winner Kristen Bicknell has a top five stack with 1,085,000, fellow Canadian and bracelet winner Mike Leah is still in it too with 503,000 chips. 888poker Ambassador Parker Talbot (434,000) will be looking to add a live tournament win to his many online wins. And many more players including Niall Farrell, Ismael Bojang, Maria Lampropulos, Anthony Zinno, Maria Ho, Stoyan Obreshkov and Vlad Darie for example are still in the running.
According to the schedule, the players will be playing 6 or 7 90-minute levels with a break of 20 minutes after each level. There will be a 60- or 90-minute dinner break after the 4th level of play which should around 7 p.m. local time.
