Calderaro First Player to a Million

Level 13
: 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

After arriving at the table in the middle of a big hand between two of the chip leaders, James Calderaro was faced with what looked to be a pot-sized bet of 225,000 from Iraj Parvizi. The board read , and Calderaro was doing all of the talking.
"What a run-out. I flopped top set and spades. Did you just go runner-runner on me?" Calderaro was trying to get any information possible from Parvizi. "Did you know I flopped top set?" Calderaro asked him.
"Yeah, you were betting like you did," Parvizi replied.
Calderaro asked the table for a couple minutes to think about his decision and finally called.
"You win," Parvizi said, and Calderaro tabled a set of queens to scoop a monster pot and become the first player over 1,000,000 chips.
