Ziff On Fumes, Then Doubles
Badugi
Alan Myerson raised his button and Clifford Ziff called in the small blind. They each took one card on the first draw, after which Ziff check-called a bet.
Ziff drew one again, while his opponent remained pat. After another bet from Myerson, Ziff folded, leaving himself with two big bets.
The next hand, Ziff raised on the button and Shaun deeb defended the big blind. Deeb drew two and Ziff exchanged one card. Deeb then check-called a bet and the players drew the same number of cards.
Ziff tossed in his final chips after the second draw, and Deeb looked him up. Deeb still needed two as Ziff kept drawing one card.
Clifford Ziff: 9?3?2?
Shaun Deeb: 3?A?
Ziff's last card was the 4?, making him a nine-badugi. Deeb caught well, but his 9?6? made him a worse nine-badugi as ZIff stayed alive.
