Johannes Becker: 5x4xAx/Jx3x2xJx
Phil Hellmuth: XxXxXx/5xKx6xAx
In the critical hand, Becker defended his bring-in to Hellmuth's completion. Becker then check-called a bet from Hellmuth on fourth street, then on fifth both players checked after improving.
On sixth Hellmuth bet, but despite pairing his jack and needing to make a fifth low card on seventh, Becker called.
Hellmuth then bet again on seventh street, and after a moment of pause, Becker raised. Hellmuth tossed ina calling chip and Becker showed that he had drawn perfect on the end, making a wheel (5x4x3x2xAx).
Hellmuth sprung up from his seat and shuffled his cards in his hand, astonished at Becker's fortune, which was accompanied by some Hellmuthian utterings that involved several F words.
A couple of hands later, he got his last chips in against Ray Dehkharghani.
Phil Hellmuth: 4x3x/6x4x7xKx/Qx
Ray Dehkharghani: 7xAx/2xAx9xQx/10x
Hellmuth got his last 110,000 chips in on third street versus Dehkharghani, with both holding strong starting hands, however by the time seventh street had completed, Hellmuth could only make a queen-low, while Dehkharghani made a ten-low on seventh street to eliminate Hellmuth.
The 16-time WSOP bracelet winner shook hands with his opponents before leaving the tournament floor to collect his 14th-place payday.
