Yockey Gets Short and Recovers Some Chips

Level 9

Omaha Hi-Lo
On a board of 8?4?3?J?Q?, Bryce Yockey was all-in and earned one quarter of the pot with the A?10?4?2? for a pair of fours and the nut low. Kristopher Tong earned three quarters with A?J?5?2? for the superior pair and same nut low, leaving Yockey on a very short stack.
One hand later, Tong earned the full pot in a medium-sized pot versus Daniel Alaei with A?A?Q?5? on a board of K?Q?7?4?8?.
Alaei and Yockey then tangled in a heads-up pot when Alaei bet the A?9?7? flop and called a raise by Yockey. They checked the Q? turn and Alaei check-called the J? river. Yockey tabled his K?10?3?2? for a flush and won the pot.
One table over, Keith Lehr was down to even fewer chips than Yockey and bowed out moments later.
