Renmei Liu Grabs Chip Lead on Day 1A One More For One Drop
The first of three opening flights of Event #71: $1,000 One More For One Drop NLHE, at the 2022 WSOP at Bally's and Paris Las Vegas drew in 841 entries, with around a third of that number surviving. With unlimited re-entries allowed not only through the starting flights but also during the first two levels on Day 2, the field is expected to rise dramatically. In 2021, there was a total of 3,797 entries with the winner Scott Ball taking home $396,445 and his second gold WSOP bracelet.
After 10 levels today, Renmei Liu finished with the chip lead; he bagged 445,500 chips. Also towards the top of the Day 1a chip counts were by Justin Lee (357,000), Rommel Berges (350,000) and Justin Fawcett (348,500). Germany's Niko Koop is not so far (329,000) while Mateusz Moolhuizen (257,000) and Matt Berkey (101,500) also bagged for day 2.
