Russell moved all in from under the gun with 168,000 behind. A few seats to his left, a player rejammed for around 200,000. The big blind called with both of them covered.

Russell was ahead, but that changed quickly when the flop gave both of his opponents top pair. The
turn was of no help to Russell, who was drawing to a two outer to make a set of nines in order to stay alive in the tournament. He managed to hit a miracle
on the river, giving him a set and the best hand. He raked in the pot, tripling his stack.
Another player at the table claimed to have folded the , although others around the table said they were uncertain if they should believe him. If true, Russell was drawing even thinner than previously thought.
