Day 3 of Event #27: $1,500 Shootout No-Limit Hold'em is slated for a 12 p.m. local time restart at the 2022 World Series of Poker in its new home at Bally's and Paris Las Vegas.
Day 3 will feature the final table, consisting of the ten players who were fortunate enough to win their tables on Day 2 and bag their chips. This field of ten will return with their eyes on the first place prize of $240,480 and a coveted WSOP bracelet. For Kevin Song it would be his second bracelet, having previously won the 1997 $2,000 Limit Hold'em event for a first place prize of $397,120. For the rest of the field, a win today would be their first WSOP bracelet. For Derek Sudell, this is his second final table of the 2022 WSOP, as he finished 5th in Event #14: $1,500 6-Handed No-Limit Hold'em for a cash of $109,083.
Play will begin at 12 p.m. local time, with blinds starting at 15,000/30,000 with a 30,000 big blind ante. Levels will last 40 minutes, with a 15 minute break after every third level. The time of the dinner break is to be determined. Play will continue until there is a winner!
