Bardah Shoves, Collects
Ronnie Bardah has been short-stacked for a while, and just now he open-pushed all in, singing "Send Me an Angel" as he did. Getting no callers, Bardah showed his hand and collected the pot.
"This is the same hand I busted in '10 with," Bardah said to the table. Indeed, three years ago when Bardah made his deep run in the Main Event, he was dealt on his final hand and ran into Filippo Candio's pocket aces to finish 24th for a $317,161 cash.
By the way, Bardah is tying a WSOP record this year by cashing in his fourth straight Main Event after finishing 453rd ($27,103) in 2011 and 540th ($21,707) in 2012.
"I'm not going anywhere," added Bardah, tossing the circular "ALL IN" disc back to the dealer and waiting for the next hand to be dealt.
