Who Will Win The One Drop High Rollers No-Limit Hold'em?
Welcome to PokerNews' Day 4 coverage of Event #47, the $111,111 One Drop High Rollers No-Limit Hold'em. After three days and 28 levels, four players remain in the quest to capture one of the most prestigious titles in World Series of Poker history, a coveted WSOP gold bracelet, and the $4,830,619 first-place prize.
Leading the way is Bill Perkins with 14.7 million. Perkins took the chip lead on the penultimate hand of Day 3, doubling through Antonio Esfandiari.. Anthony Gregg is second in chips with 13.9 million. With six players remaining, Gregg found himself as the short stack. However, after winning a race against Perkins and eliminating Martin Jacobson in sixth place, Gregg vaulted into the chip lead at the time. Chris Klodnicki held the chip lead for a good portion of Day 3 and finds himself third in chips with 12 million. Rounding out the remaining four players is none other than Antonio Esfandiari, last year's Big One for One Drop winner, with 9.2 million. Esfandiari was in the lead for majority of the final table on Day 3 before Perkins' late double up.
It's still anybody's game and we'll be here to provide you hand-for-hand coverage of the conclusion to this historic tournament. Play is set to resume at 1 p.m. local time, about 25 minutes from now, so follow along to see who captures this prestigious title!
