Wahlbeck: (X-X) /
Ellis: (X-X) /
Pescatori: (X-X) /
Freddie Ellis bet his board; only Wahlbeck called. They checked the river, prompting Ellis to turn up (a pair of jacks). When Wahlbeck mucked, Mueller showed and began to squeeze his last card. He needed an ace or a queen, but all of the queens were already dead. He squeezed clean across... and pulled the to stay in the tournament.
Mueller now has about 80,000.
Ellis recently calmly called every street against Ivan Schertzer, drawing (X-X) / / (X) against Schertzer's (X-X) / / (X). Even despite a double-bet on fourth street with an open air, Schertzer couldn't shake Ellis. Down the river, Ellis bet, then produced the , the and the for an eight-high straight (and one of Schertzer's needed queens) after Schertzer called. He couldn't beat that hand.

In the end, Phan's board ran out ( ) (X), ending with just that pair of jacks. Schertzer could do better, running out ( ) () for the winning kings up. Schertzer has doubled up in the nick of time, just over 200,000 now.
Mueller: (X-X) / / (X)
Ellis: (X-X) / / (X)
Fourth street saw Ellis check-call a bet from FBT. Both players checked fifth street, and Ellis fired out on sixth. Mueller called a bet there, as well as one on seventh street. Ellis tabled , having begun with buried fives and ending with a seven-high straight. Mueller flashed buried aces, but they were naked and not good enough to top Ellis. After that exchange, Mueller has spiraled down to about 80,000, now dangerously short on chips. Freddie Ellis, on the other hand, has been tearing through this final table, sitting on well over 1.3 million in chips.
Phan: (X-X) / / (X)
Ellis: (X-X) / / (X)
Habib: (X-X) / / (X)
On fourth street, Habib bet out with his king-high, and both Phan and Ellis called. On fifth, Habib and Phan checked, then called a bet from Freddie Ellis. All three players checked sixth street. On seventh, Habib once again fired out. Phan called, while Ellis got out of the way.
Habib turned over , having run down a king-high flush. Phan couldn't show anything better, and Habib dragged down a nice pot.
Wahlbeck: (X-X) / / (X)
Phan: (X-X) / / (X)
On fourth and fifth streets, Phan was the bettor with his ace-high, and Wahlbeck called both times. On sixth street, Phan fired again, drawing a raise from his opponent, which he called. Seventh street saw both men check. Wahlbeck tabled for queens up. Phan lamented that he had a pair of aces as he folded his cards under and returned them to the muck.
