Matt Matros: Set or No Set?

Three players limp in and Matt Matros checks in the big blind. The SB checks to Matros, who bets 2,000. An early-position player raises to 5,000 and a middle-position player and the small blind fold. Matros reraises all in for 40,000 total and the EP player says "A set of fours, huh?" He folds and Matros has 55,000.
