Karma for Kroon?
Mark Kroon was in the small blind and told the table that if action folded around to him he would simply muck and give the big blind a walk. Sure enough, action folded to him but Kroon decided a raise to 3,600 would suit him better. The big blind did not shy away and made the call.
The flop came down and Kroon led out with a bet of 3,600. The big blind called and then both players checked the on the turn. When the hit the river, Kroon bet a tiny 2,600 and was snap-called by the big blind. Kroon turned over but was way behind his opponent's flopped straight with .
Kroon dropped to 56,000 after the hand while Steve Verrett, Kroon's poker buddy from Wisconsin who happened to be watching, told him, "It's karma for not folding it."
