Maxence Makes Full House, Barthe Eliminated, Taurines Bulldozed
In what would shape up to be a very significant hand, Ugo Taurines raised to 10,000 from under the gun and was reraised by Vie Maxence, who made it 31,000 to go. Didier Barthe then moved all in for 70,000.
Taurines isolated with a raise to around 110,000. Maxence put his hands on his head and his head on the table before pushing all in. Taurines made the call and just like that players were showing down hands for a three way all in.
Both players had Barthe covered and Maxence was also at risk of busting if Taurines could make his hand.
Didier Barthe: 10?10?
Vie Maxence: Q?Q?
Ugo Taurines: A?K?
The board ran out A?Q?3?7?A?. Taurines paired his ace and made trips on the river, but Maxence had hit a full house with his queens on the flop. Barthe failed to improve and was eliminated from the tournament. He got up and left the table.
Maxence seemed shocked and uttered words of disbelief. Taurines let out a loud shout as it sank in that he'd just lost most of his chips, his stack now reduced to around starting. Maxence scooped the pot for a stack of around 600,000, putting him among the chip leaders.
