Ronit Chamani Leads ZAR 50,000 High Roller Into Day 2

The ongoing SunBet Poker Tour Time Square stop features several High Roller competitions and the most expensive one of them is currently running with Day 2 of the ZAR 50,000 ($2,719) High Roller. Day 1 saw a total of 30 entries enter of which 21 players bagged up chips.
Ronit Chamani was the only player to more than quadruple her 300,000 starting stack and leads the way with 1,286,000 in chips. She currently sits in eighth place of the South African all-time money list with more than $940k in cashes and some deep runs during this series will bring her on the verge of reaching seven figures. Chamani finished third in the 2024 SPT GrandWest Main Event this past December and narrowly missed out on becoming the first female champion in an SPT Main Event, as did runner-up Diane Walker.
Imran Bhojani and Huawei Sun follow behind her on the leaderboard with several other notables such as Rajeev Poonhath, Alvin Pillay, Ahmed Karrim, Giovanni Zanette, Rudolf Fourie and Okkie Fourie all in contention as well. The late registration for the event remains open until approximately 4.30 p.m. local time.
