Campbell Bags Chip Lead at End of Day 1c, Cornelius Returning for Day 2
Day 1c action in the RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) Jamul Casino Main Event has wrapped up after 12 levels of play with Winston Campbell in the chip lead after bagging a stack of 270,500. Campbell leads 34 players from Day 1c who will return to compete on Day 2 for a chance to take down the Main Event.
Play on Day 1c lasted for six hours and saw a field of 146 entrants. Day 1c kicked off just as Day 1b ended, which had attracted 202 entrants to make it the largest of the three starting flights.
In total, the three flights attracted 500 runners to generate a prize pool of $250,000 to smash the guarantee of $100,000.
Other big stacks at the end of Day 1a include Huy Nguy?n (230,000), who took down the $185 DeepStack Event earlier in the week, as well as Barbod Salimi (155,000) and David Avina (119,000).

RunGood ambassador Julie Cornelius also survived the day and will be joined on Day 2 by fellow ambassadors Joe Stapleton and ��Boston�� Rob Mariano.
Day 2 of the Main Event will commence at noon on Sunday, Feb. 6 and will play down to a winner, who will earn the lion��s share of the prize pool and an exclusive invitation and $800 seat and stipend package to the RGPS: All Stars Pro-am Event at PokerGo Studios in December 2022.
