Welcome to Day 1c of the PokerNews Cup in Rozvadov
In 90 minutes from now at 1 p.m. local time, Europe's biggest card room, the King's Casino in Rozvadov once again welcomes players from near and far for the �225+�25 PokerNews Cup Main Event. Today provides two starting days, as Day 1c gets underway at 1 p.m. local time and Day 1d is scheduled for 5 p.m. later in the afternoon. The highlight of the festival boasts a guaranteed prize pool of �200,000, providing perfect value for players with a limited budget.
The King's Casino has also added another Turbo Satellite that kicked off half an hour ago and more than 100 players were already registered to take advantage of the 10-seat guarantee. In the Main Event, all participants will receive a total of 30,000 chips and 14 levels of 30 minutes each will be played.
The late registration and reentry period in each flight remains open until the end of level 11, during that time everyone can also purchase a single reentry per starting day as well. Day 1c will conclude at approximately 9 p.m. whereas Day 1d bags and tags at 1 a.m. in the early morning.
Thus far, a field of 347 entries has emerged so far throughout two starting days, of which 70 advanced to Day 2 tomorrow as of 1 p.m. local time. Two other Side Events played down to a winner yesterday also. Main Event Day 1a chip leader Ronny Voth won the �100+�10 Pot-Limit Omaha Event and Olle Icke, who also bagged up chips on the first starting flight, took down the Ticket & Ca$h tournament. The event drew 190 entries and 20 players cashed, all of them received an entry to the Main Event.
