Eng Soon Ewe raised to 500,000 with the in the small blind and Devan Tang made the call with
in the big blind. The
flop brought a bet worth 300,000 by Ewe for Tang to call and the
followed on the turn.
Ewe bet another 800,000 as Tang mulled it over before coming along. That led them to the river on which Ewe grabbed into his stack quickly, thought about it for a couple seconds and made it 1,500,000 to go.
Tang tanked and gave up, preserving his precious short stack. After the hand, the final five players went on a scheduled 15-minute break.
