Wai Leong Chan Eliminated in 3rd Place (RUB30,000,000)


Ivan Leow raised to 90,000 on the button and Wai Leong Chan called in the small blind. On the flop, Chan checked and Leow continued for 125,000, Chan check-raised to 350,000 and Leow called.
The turn gave Leow top pair and Chan snap-called for 605,000, Leow almost beat him into the pot to create the following showdown.

Instead of the straight draw, Leow made the better two pair with the river and that sent Chan to the rail in 3rd place. After finishing runner-up to Mikita Badziakouski in the Triton High Roller Series Main Event in Jeju just a few days ago, Chan collected another six-figure payday in Sochi and takes home RUB30,000,000 (approximately $472,500).
