Within just five minutes, several players were eliminated in very quick succession to bring the field down to just 48 hopefuls after three levels of play on Day 3.
Among them were Marko Simic, Jesper Hansen and Friedrich Raz.
Simic raised to 600,000 and was called by Alamzad Sina in the small blind. Sina check-called a big bet by Simic on a king-high flop with two hearts and then set Simic all in after the turn. Simic only had 1.4 million behind and called with ace-king. Sina showed
for a gutshot and flush draw that had improved, and that was it for the German with the nickname "Mubble."
Pavel Stolar's all in for 2,150,000 was called by Sonay Kehya and Raz called all in for just 750,000.
