Who Will Make the Final Table at First Ever PAPC?
At noon, 20 players will return for the penultimate day of the 1,500 Patrik Antonius Poker Challenge Main Event. Each of them is guaranteed a money finish of at least 2,820, but one of them will walk away with the first-place prize of 57,200 and the honor of becoming the first-ever PAPC Main Event champ.
Yesterday, it was all about one man: Joris Ruijs. In the span of nearly eight hours, he bagged up a monster lead worth 1,242,000, miles ahead of his nearest challengers Kasper Mellanen (423,000), Ville Jantunen (410,000), and Henri Schalin (365,000). A win in Estonia would put the 27-old from the Netherlands over the $1.7M in lifetime winnings, but he still needs to overcome 19 challengers in order to make it happen.
Play today is scheduled with levels of 60 minutes each, playing down to the final eight. Blinds will resume in level 16 with 3,000/6,000 and a big blind ante of 6,000. Follow along with PokerNews as we bring you all the action live from the Olympic Park Casino in the Hilton Tallinn.
