Matakis Makes a Flush
There was around 55,000 in the middle on a board reading with heads-up action between Ian Matakis in the big blind and Jon Hanner, who was in the cutoff. Matakis threw out a bet of 31,000 after about 15 seconds of thought.
Action was then on Hanner, who went into the tank for about 35 seconds. He then put out chips to call.
Matakis tabled for a flush. Hanner sat frozen, neither mucking nor tabling his hand. He lifted it back up to look at it and the cards went just beyond 180 degrees as if he were about to turn them over. He then flipped them back down and sent them to the muck., resulting in the pot being sent Matakis' way.
"I had a pair and a nut flush draw," said Hanner as Matakis stacked his chips. "A big, big pair and the nut flush draw."
