Mike Senneff cold-called from middle position, and the player on the button followed suit. The bettor mucked, and the three remaining players saw a river. Eldridge bet 9,900, and Senneff tossed in a call. The player on the button agonized awhile before calling also.
Eldridge showed for a backdoor flush, but the spade turned out to be a bad card as Senneff held for the nut flush. The third player cursed a few times and mucked.
