54 Players Vie for the Inaugural PokerNews Cup on Global Poker in SC 250,000 Final at 5 p.m. ET
Fourteen qualifiers, a quarter-final round, and a semi-final round conducted over the last 20 days have finally led to this moment when the inaugural PokerNews Cup will be awarded on Global Poker in the SC 250,000 Final.
Global Poker is reimagining ways for players to enjoy the game. It��s a social poker platform that emphasizes the friendly, fun interactions that make poker enjoyable. It uses tokens for gameplay, with no purchase or downloads necessary in order to take part. The 54 players who have made it to the PokerNews Cup SC 250,000 Final can collect 100,000 free SC when play begins at 5 p.m. ET. They include PokerNews Stream Team member Anthony ��Acepoker444�� Caldiero, who earned his seat in a qualifier yesterday and will be streaming the event on his Twitch channel, as well as WSOP bracelet winner David ��RUeTaMa�� Moses who finished atop the overall SC leaderboard during the qualifiers. ��Chipsnqueso�� and ��Penneltenn�� also earned their tournament entry in a PokerNews contest.

Players begin with a 10,000 starting stack and play 12-minute levels until a winner is crowned. Each of the 54 qualifiers is already guaranteed 1,000 free SC. There is also a GC 100,000,000 Final taking place simultaneously with 40,000,000 free GC up for grabs.
The PokerNews Cup final is the culmination of a partnership between PokerNews and the online social site.
