Welcome back to PokerNews' coverage of the record-breaking 10,300 High Roller from the 2015 European Poker Tour Barcelona festival.
After Day 1 saw 479 total entries generated, a new high was achieved. That number is only going to grow as registration and reentry will remain open until just about the start of Day 2. That should lend to a handful of new competitors joining the field, plus a few reentries from those that busted on Day 1. The additions could see the field size surpass 500, which would be remarkable.
Leading the pack into Day 2 is Ping San Chan with 367,500. Hot on his heals are Nathan Gozlan with 326,600 and Wilfried Hariq with 315,200. Other notables that advanced to Day 2 with healthy stacks were Angel Guilen, Fedor Holz, Adrian Mateos, Vanessa Selbst, Nicholas Rampone, Martin Jacobson, and Dani Stern.
Day 2 is set to commence at 12:30 p.m. local time. Once registration closes, field size and prize pool information will be made available. Until then, stay tuned for continued coverage to begin shortly.
