Ivey Watch, Sort of
We thought it was about time we had a look at how Phil Ivey was getting on, or risk the wrath of Donnie Peters.
When we approached the table Ivey was one of four players who had committed 3,000 chips before a flop had been seen. The flop came down and Walid Bou-Habib led for 5,400. This forced out Dieter Albrecht and Ivey, but not Pedro Pellicer who raised to 11,000.
Bou-Habib thought about his next move for a minute and raised all-in for 18,7000 total. It wasn't much more for Pellicer to call but he still took two minutes to do so.
Bou-Habib opened for top set, bettering his opponent's pocket kings. The on the river changed not a thing.
