Seale Puts Geller To the Test
Richard Seale limped from under the gun and the player to his left raised to 900. Greg Geller was in middle position and three-bet to 2,000. He received four calls from the hijack, the player on the button, Seale, and the original raiser.
The flop came and action checked to Geller, who bet 6,000. Only Seale called.
The dealer brought the turn and Seale said, "I'm all in," as he put forward a stack of about 35,000. Geller thought for a bit and let his hand go.
On the following hand, Geller opened to 1,000 from early position and again received four calls, one of which was Seale defending his big blind. All five players checked through the runout of and a slew of cards were tabled. In the end, Geller was the only one with an ace in his hand and it was good to take down the pot and get a few chips back on the double-paired board.
