Chan Loses Two Hands in a Row and Busts
Level 10
: 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
This wasn't the lucky level for William Chan as he lost two hands in a row to leave the field right after the end of registration.
He talked to Pokernews right after his bust-out hand and explained that he first lost with ace-queen versus his opponent's king-jack in a preflop all in situation. The flop brought an ace and a queen, but a ten on the river gave a straight to his opponent.
Chan had 35,000 before the previous hand and was left with 20,000 after it, which he lost with versus his opponent's in another preflop all in. The board ran out , and Chan hit the rail.
"I got up to 70k chips", he told us after the hand, adding that "i should have slept at this point and just advance to Day 2".
He will have a second chance tomorrow, though.
