The time has come to crown a champion in the Ante Up Poker Tour Wild Horse Pass $400 Main Event! The original field of 475 entries has played down to 77 players through the Day 1a and Day 1b flights.
Those 77 players will come back to the Wild Horse Casino in Chandler, Arizona today at 10 a.m., and play for 63 money spots and a share of the $166,250 prize pool. The tournament will play down to a champion today, and that player will take home the first-place prize of $30,329.
Todd Goodrich (411,000) comes into Day 2 as the overall chip leader, after bagging the only 400k-plus stack of the tournament so far at the end of Day 1b.
Closely following Goodrich on the chip leaderboard is Day 1a chip leader Amir Doroudian (355,000), as well as Tiffany Heniz (323,000), Alvaro Vasquez (313,000), and Robert DeFabrizio (292,000).
The tournament will resume today with 13:22 remaining in Level 15 (2000/4000/4000), and the field will play through 30-minute levels until a champion is crowned. Players will get 10-minute breaks after every four levels, as well as a 30-minute dinner break after the twelfth full level of the day.
