The cards were already on their backs and the players at the tables gasped as to what had been turned over as the top three pocket pairs clashed. Arvin Vahdat had been the first to get his shorter stack of around 40,000 in, Kully Sidhu followed and Maria Lampropulos was all in for 45,000 in the big blind.
