Scott and Cabrera
Kara Scott made it 375 to play from the hijack position and was called by the player in the cut-off position. Joaquin Cabrera made it 1,750 from the button and only Scott called.
The flop of saw Scott check, and she let the hand go when Cabrera bet 800 pretty quickly. Despite losing that hand, Scott is in control and in profit. She's also looking forward to a huge summer, presenting both the Super High Roller Bowl and of course the World Series of Poker Main Event in Las Vegas.
At last night's Welcome Party, Scott told the assembled media and players of 888Poker's desire to 'Take Back The Game' and in doing so, 888's passion for taking as many players as possible to the World Series, not just through qualifiers, but in competitions unrelated to grinding 10 hours. With 250 already qualifying via satellites into the WSOP Main Event action in Vegas, it's sure to be yet another busy year in Sin City not just for the face of the WSOP coverage Kara Scott but 888Live as a poker brand.
